A few more pupils have met Moe this afternoon and loved him!
Moe learnt 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes’ this afternoon and had a long chat about umpa lumpas. Our pupils seem so comfortable with Moe and engage really well. Everyone has loved him so far and I think it is going to make a really big difference here at Woodland School. One pupil in particular, after his first time of meeting Moe, completed a separate piece of work around what he likes at school and what he wants to do more of. He told the teacher asking him that he wanted to see Moe the Monkey more!
We also had a pupil who is none verbal tell Moe a new word he had learnt to say that day! This was the first time he met Moe and can become shy around other people, but with Moe we saw his confidence coming out.
Iain is contacting the press to get Moe on the telly and I will keep you all updated. In the meantime, we will be putting a video on our school website.
We can't wait for more pupils to meet Moe and for what more Moe will bring to our school.
Thank you so much,
